Purpose:
Installation of new climbing units at Darnall Community Park, Lydgate Park and Phillimore Park.
Installation of new bins and signage at Darnall Community Park and Phillimore Park.
Installation of swings, roundabout and new surfacing at Osgathorpe Park.
Decision:
(i) The Sheffield City Council Playground Team quote and the tenders of Wicksteed, Ludus, Sutcliffe and Magical Playground Markings in the combined sum of £59,392.01 is accepted; and
(ii) letters of Acceptance are issued accordingly.
Reasons for the decision:
To award a contract to enable works to commence March 2019.
Alternative options considered:
None.
The contracts have been awarded in accordance with approved tender processes and the budgets are in place.
