Purpose:
Sheffield Dementia Action Alliance are changing their hosting arrangement with Sheffield Community Foundation to Age UK Sheffield. Age UK Sheffield expects to take on all contractual obligations and performance management.
Decision:
That the Cabinet Member for Health and Social Care approves the proposal to award an amended grant to Sheffield Dementia Action Alliance to reflect the organisational change.
Reasons for the decision:
Sheffield Dementia Action Alliance (SDAA) is currently hosted by Sheffield Community Foundation (a Community Interest Company). It is the intention of SDAA to change its hosting organisation to Age UK Sheffield (a registered charity).
Alternative options considered:
Alternative options have not been considered through this process as the decision to change host has been taken by Sheffield Dementia Action Alliance.
