To approve a rent free period for market traders until the end of July 2020, in accordance with the details reported to the Council’s Incident Management Group.

To help traders overcome expected low footfall (expected to be c25% of what it normally is) to the indoor markets once reopened from 15^th June 2020 and to help mitigate increased vacancy rates and long-term financial impacts of this across markets, it is proposed to allow a zero rent until the end of July 2020; however, Service charge will be collected as normal.
