To recruit up to 8 additional Environmental Health Officers on a temporary basis, plus a permanent post to fill an existing vacancy.

As part of the corporate project to set up and operationalise local track and trace and outbreak management, there is a staffing requirement for further specialist staff to undertake outbreak management and or backfill of highly technical roles undertaken by the Council’s Environmental Health Officers.

Central Government has made funding available to support this activity.
