The Director of Policy, Performance and Communications submitted a report outlining proposals for the establishment and appointment of a representative to the Joint Health Overview and Scrutiny Committee to Support Health Service Change in South and Mid Yorkshire, Bassetlaw and North Derbyshire.

6.2

RESOLVED: That this Council approves the recommendations set out in the report of the Director of Policy, Performance and Communications now submitted regarding the Council’s participation in the Joint Health Overview and Scrutiny Committee to support health service change in south and mid Yorkshire, Bassetlaw and North Derbyshire, as follows:-

(a)

join the Joint Health Overview and Scrutiny Committee to support health service change in South and Mid Yorkshire, Bassetlaw and North Derbyshire;

(b)

appoint the Chair of the Healthier Communities and Adult Social Care Scrutiny Committee, or her nominee, to serve as a Member of the Joint Health Overview and Scrutiny Committee; and

(c)

delegate approval of the terms of reference of the Joint Health Overview and Scrutiny Committee to the Healthier Communities and Adult Social Care Scrutiny Committee.
