The Committee received a report of the Policy and Improvement Officer (Alice Nicholson), on the recent establishment, within the “Commissioners Working Together” programme area, of a Joint Regional Health Overview and Scrutiny Committee, to consider proposed substantial variations to local health services, and attaching the minutes of the last meeting of the Joint Scrutiny Committee held on 8^th August 2016.

RESOLVED: That the Committee:-

(a)       notes the contents of the report now submitted, together with the minutes of the meeting of the Joint Scrutiny Committee held on 8^th August 2016; and

(b)       requests Members of this Committee to refer any issues relating to the work of the Joint Scrutiny Committee to the Chair, for her to raise at the next meeting of the Joint Scrutiny Committee to be held on 21^st November 2016.
