RESOLVED: On the motion of Councillor Josie Paszek, seconded by Councillor Vickie Priestley, that approval be given to the recommendations contained in the report of the Acting Executive Director, Resources now submitted, to (a) accept Public Sector Audit Appointments’ (PSAA) invitation to ‘opt in’ to the sector led option for the appointment of external auditors for 5 financial years commencing 1 April 2018 and (b) authorise the Acting Executive Director, Resources, to give notice of acceptance of the invitation to ‘opt in’ to the PSAA prior to the closing date for acceptance of the invitation.
