The minutes of the meeting of the Committee held on 9^th November 2016, were approved as a correct record, subject to the addition of the sentence ‘It was noted that the report and final version of the presentation had only been received the previous evening and Members had not had the opportunity to read through them.’ at the end of paragraph 7.1 (Shaping Sheffield – The Plan).

Arising from consideration of the minutes, it was noted that, in relation to Item 6 (Community Pharmacy in 2016/17 and Beyond – National Contract Changes) the Community Pharmacists’ national body, the Pharmaceutical Services Negotiating Committee, had been granted permission by the High Court for a judicial review of the proposals, on the grounds that the Secretary of State was believed to have failed to carry out lawful consultation on the proposed changes to Community Pharmacy Contracts, and that the hearing was expected to take place during the week commencing 6^th February 2017.
