The Chief Licensing Officer submitted a report to consider an objection to an application for a Temporary Event Notice made under Section 104(2) of the Licensing Act 2003. |

Present at the meeting were Clive Stephenson (Licensing Strategy and Policy Officer), Marie-Claire Frankie (Solicitor to the Sub-Committee) and John Turner (Democratic Services). Lemoyne Cass (Applicant) and South Yorkshire Police (Objector) did not attend the meeting, despite being invited. |

Marie-Claire Frankie outlined the procedure which would be followed during the hearing. |

Clive Stephenson presented the report to the Sub-Committee and it was noted that a notice of objection to the Temporary Event Notice had been submitted by South Yorkshire Police on 12th January 2017, and was attached at Appendix ‘B’ to the report. |

RESOLVED: That, in the light of the information contained in the report now submitted, and the representations now made as regards the objection to a Temporary Event Notice at the Horse and Jockey, 638 Attercliffe Road, Sheffield, S9 3RN, the Sub-Committee agrees to issue a counter notice on the premises on the grounds of preventing crime and disorder and the protection of children from harm. |
