The minutes of the meeting of the Committee held on 25^th January 2017, were approved as a correct record, with the exception of Item 4 – ‘Implications for Sheffield of the Decision to Leave the European Union’, which was amended by the substitution of the words ‘it was considered that businesses being more engaged with schools, at an early stage, would be more beneficial’ for the words ‘it was not considered that commencing apprenticeships any earlier in a young person’s life would be any more beneficial’.
