Minutes:

4.1

The Chief Licensing Officer submitted details in respect of four cases relating to hackney carriage and private hire licensing.

 

 

4.2

The applicant in Case No. 26/17 attended the hearing with a representative and they both addressed the Sub-Committee.

 

 

4.3

The applicant in Case No. 27/17 attended the hearing and addressed the Sub-Committee.

 

 

4.4

The applicant in Case No. 28/17 attended the hearing with a family member and a representative and they all addressed the Sub-Committee.

 

 

4.5

The applicant in Case No. 29/17 attended the hearing with a representative and they both addressed the Sub-Committee.

Application to renew a Private Hire Vehicle Licence (Exemptions from Licensing Conditions)

Grant a licence for 12 months as requested as the applicant had demonstrated evidence to warrant a departure from the policy.

Application to renew a Hackney Carriage and Private Hire Driver’s Licence

Defer a decision on the application until the outcome of the Court case is known.  If the applicant is found not guilty, the Chief Licensing Officer be authorised to grant the application.
