Minutes:

4.1

The Chief Licensing Officer submitted details in respect of three cases relating to hackney carriage and private hire licensing.

 

 

4.2

The applicant in Case No. 31/17 had not been able to attend the hearing, and had requested that consideration of his application be deferred.

 

 

4.3

The applicant in Case No. 33/17 attended the hearing with a representative, and they both addressed the Sub-Committee.

 

 

4.4

The applicant in Case No. 32/17 attended the hearing, and addressed the Sub-Committee.

 

 

4.5

(a) Grant a licence for the term requested and (b) in the light of the offence and conviction now reported, the applicant be given a written warning, in the strongest possible terms, to remain live for a period of 12 months, indicating that if there is any further cause for concern, the licence will be referred back to the Sub-Committee.

Application to renew a Hackney Carriage and Private Hire Driver’s Licence

 

 

In the light of the information now reported, and depending on the validity of the information, the Chief Licensing Officer be authorised to grant the licence for a period of 12 months.
