Minutes:

4.1

The Chief Licensing Officer submitted details in respect of two cases relating to hackney carriage and private hire licensing.

 

 

4.2

The licence holder in Case No. 39/17 attended the hearing with a representative, and they both addressed the Sub-Committee.

 

 

4.3

The licence holder in Case No. 40/17 attended the hearing with a representative, and they both addressed the Sub-Committee.

 

 

4.4

Exemption from Objective 16, Mandatory Conditions, Section 4, of the Hackney Carriage and Private Hire Driver’s Licence

(a) allow the exemption as requested until the end of the applicant’s current licence; (b) the plate number be displayed in the place of the interior identification where it is clearly visible to passengers and (c) the exemption certificate to be carried at all times.

Review of a Hackney Carriage and Private Hire Driver’s Licence

In the light of the offences and convictions now reported, the licence holder be given a written warning, to remain live for the remainder of his current licence, indicating that if there is any further cause for concern, the licence will be referred back to the Sub-Committee.
