The Lord Mayor (Councillor Denise Fox) reported with sadness, the death, in early March, of former Councillor Gordon Mills, who had served as a Member of the Council from 1980 to 1986. Members of the Council observed a minute’s silence in his memory. |

Several Members of the Council paid tribute to former Councillor Mills, and also to former Councillor Cath Whitty whose death had been reported to, and a minute’s silence had been held at, the previous meeting of the Council on 3rd March 2017. |
