Minutes:

4.1

The Chief Licensing Officer submitted details in respect of three cases relating to hackney carriage and private hire licensing.

 

 

4.2

The applicant in Case No. 13/18 attended the hearing with a representative, and they both addressed the Sub-Committee.

 

 

4.3

The licence holder in Case No. 14/18 attended the hearing with a representative, and they both addressed the Sub-Committee.

 

 

4.4

The licence holder in Case No. 15/18 attended the hearing with his wife, and they both addressed the Sub-Committee.

 

 

4.5

Application for a Hackney Carriage and Private Hire Driver’s Licence

(a) Grant a licence for the shorter term of three months in the light of the number, and serious nature of, the offences and convictions now reported and, after this time, subject to there being no further cause for concern, the Chief Licensing Officer be authorised to grant a licence for three further terms of three months and (b) the applicant be given a written warning, to remain live for the period of his initial licence, indicating that if there is any further cause for concern, the licence will be referred back to the Sub-Committee.
