Following consideration of an additional submission and an officer response and, subject to an amended and additional condition, all as outlined in a supplementary report circulated at the meeting, and having heard representations made at the meeting from the applicant’s agent speaking in support of the application, an application for planning permission for demolition of bungalow and outbuilding, alterations and use of existing car sales building as a supermarket with the provision of a rear fire escape stairway and erection of 2 retail units with customer car park to the front of the site and access road to the rear (as amended 28/8/18, 5/10/18 and 26/10/18) at St Christophers, 147-149 Langsett Road South, Sheffield, S35 0GZ (Case No. 18/01475/FUL) be granted, conditionally, for the reasons detailed in the report now submitted.
