Minutes:

4.1

The Chief Licensing Officer submitted details in respect of two cases relating to hackney carriage and private hire licensing.

 

 

4.2

The applicant in Case No. 123/18 attended the hearing with a representative, and they both addressed the Sub-Committee.

 

 

4.3

The applicant in Case No. 124/18 attended the hearing with a friend, and they both addressed the Sub-Committee.

 

 

4.4

RESOLVED: That, after consideration of the information contained in the case papers and, where relevant, any additional information submitted to, or reported at, the meeting, the cases now submitted be determined as follows:-

Application for a Hackney Carriage and Private Hire Driver’s Licence

(a) Grant a licence for the shorter term of 12 months on the basis that, despite the number of offences and convictions reported, the Sub-Committee considers the applicant to be a fit and proper person to hold a licence and (b) the applicant be given a written warning as to his future conduct, to remain live for the period of that licence.
