The Chief Licensing Officer submitted details in respect of a case relating to hackney carriage and private hire licensing. |

The applicant in Case No. 09/19 attended the hearing with a representative, and they both addressed the Sub-Committee. |

RESOLVED: That, after consideration of the information contained in the case papers and the information reported at the meeting, the Sub-Committee agrees that the licence in Case No.09/19 be refused on the grounds that the vehicle is fitted with windows that do not meet the criteria for light transmission into the vehicle required by the Private Hire Vehicle policy and the applicant has not provided sufficient evidence to convince the Sub-Committee that there are exceptional reasons to deviate from the policy. |
