Minutes:

4.1

The Chief Licensing Officer submitted details in respect of two cases relating to hackney carriage and private hire licensing.

 

 

4.2

The applicant in Case No. 60/19 attended the hearing with a representative, and they both addressed the Sub-Committee.

 

 

4.3

The applicant in Case No. 64/19 attended the hearing with his brother, and they both addressed the Sub-Committee.

 

 

4.4

RESOLVED: That, after consideration of the information contained in the case papers, and the information now reported, and where relevant, circulated, at the meeting, the cases now submitted be determined as follows:-

Application for a Hackney Carriage and Private Hire Driver’s Licence

(a) Grant a licence for three years, as requested, on the grounds that the Sub-Committee considers the applicant to be a fit and proper person to hold a licence and (b) the applicant be given a written warning, to remain on his licence for a period of three years, indicating that if there is any further cause for concern, the licence will be referred back to the Sub-Committee.
