Minutes:

4.1

The Chief Licensing Officer submitted details in respect of two cases relating to hackney carriage and private hire licensing.

 

 

4.2

The applicant in Case No. 84/19 attended the hearing with a representative, and they both addressed the Sub-Committee.

 

 

4.3

The licence holder in Case No. 85/19 attended the hearing with a representative, and they both addressed the Sub-Committee.

 

 

4.4

RESOLVED: That, after consideration of the information contained in the case papers, and the information now reported, and where relevant, circulated at the meeting, the cases now submitted be determined as follows:-

Application for a Hackney Carriage and Private Hire Driver’s Licence

(a) Grant a licence for one year, as requested, on the grounds that the Sub-Committee considers the applicant to be a fit and proper person to hold a licence and (b) the applicant be given a written warning as to his future conduct, to remain live for the term of the licence, and for the term of his next licence, warning that if there is any further cause for concern, the licence will be referred back to the Sub-Committee.
