(a) on the basis that the applicant has demonstrated exceptional circumstances to warrant a deviation from current policy, mainly due to due to the bespoke nature of the business, the applicant be exempted from those conditions requiring (i) all seats in the vehicle to be facing forward and (ii) taxi stickers and a taxi plate to be displayed on the vehicle, with the exemptions applying only to the vehicle when a job booking begins or ends outside the controlled district of Sheffield, or when a booking is made within the controlled district of Sheffield where the period of hire is less than 60 minutes and (b) the additional driver requested by the applicant must be a named driver. |
