Minutes:

4.1

The Chief Licensing Officer submitted details in respect of two cases relating to hackney carriage and private hire licensing.

 

 

4.2

The applicant in Case No. 52/20 attended the hearing with a representative, and they both addressed the Sub-Committee.

 

 

4.3

The licence holder in Case No. 58/20 did not attend the hearing.

 

 

4.4

RESOLVED: That, after consideration of the information contained in the case papers, and the information now reported, the cases now submitted be determined as follows:-

Grant a licence for 12 months on the grounds that the applicant has provided sufficient evidence to convince the Sub-Committee that there are unique and exceptional reasons to deviate from the current policy on the age limit of vehicles.

In the circumstances now reported, the licence holder be afforded a further opportunity to attend a hearing.
