Report seeking approval to continue to procure Library Books and other Materials for the next 3 years through the North West and Yorkshire Book Consortium.

This decision will be taken under urgency procedures.

Reason for urgency:
• The previous Contract has now expired.
• The new Framework Contract started on 1st June 2019.
• Until approval is granted we are unable to purchase library books and other materials at the favourable discounts negotiated by the Consortium, which has negative implications for the Citizens of Sheffield.
• Usual practice is to order books 3 months in advance, so new orders must be placed in order to mitigate delays, and complaints from our customers.
