in respect of four cases relating to hackney carriage and private
hire licensing.

hearing and addressed the Sub-Committee.

|
(a) Grant a licence for the term of
one year, as requested, on the grounds that the Sub-Committee
considers the applicant to be a fit and proper person to hold a
licence, subject to him passing a medical examination, (b) the
applicant be given a written warning as to his future conduct and
be informed that if there are any further offences during the term
of the licence, the licence will be brought back to the
Sub-Committee and (c) the applicant be informed that the current
term of 14 days allowed for any offences to be reported to the
Licensing Service, is shortly to be reduced to 48 hours

written warning with regard to his future conduct, such warning to
remain live for 12 months.

(a) Extend the licence for the term
of six months on the grounds that the applicant has provided
sufficient evidence to convince the Sub-Committee that there are
exceptional reasons to deviate from the current policy on the age
limit of vehicles and the applicant be required to arrange for
three MOTs to be carried out during that six month period.
