The Chief Licensing Officer submitted details
in respect of two cases relating to hackney carriage and private
hire licensing.

4.2
|
The licence holder in Case No.90/21 did not
attend the hearing and the Sub-Committee decided to proceed to
consider the case in his absence.
|
|
|
4.3
|
The applicant in Case No.91/21
attended the hearing with a
representative and an observer and the applicant and his
representative both addressed the Sub-Committee.

proper person to hold a licence.

renewal of a Hackney Carriage and Private Hire Driver’s
Licence
|
Refuse to grant the licence on the grounds
that information had been received from the National Crime Agency
stating that the applicant was still under investigation, therefore
the Sub-Committee did not consider him to be a fit and proper
person to hold a licence until the matter had been resolved.
