The Monitoring Officer submitted a report on
the findings from an investigation into a complaint alleging that
an elected Member had failed to comply with the Members’ Code
of Conduct. The Member and complainant were not required to attend
the meeting.

Resolved: That, after
consideration of the report on complaint reference SC.2017.12 and
taking into account the views of the Independent Person, the
Sub-Committee agreed to take no action as the Councillor’s
actions did not amount to a potential breach of, or failure to
comply with, the Members’ Code of Conduct.
