To identify items where resolutions may be moved to exclude the press and public.

Resolved: That the public and press be excluded from the meeting before discussion takes place on item 4 on the grounds that, if the public and press were present during the transaction of such business, there would be a disclosure to them of exempt information described in Paragraphs 1 and 2 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A of the Local Government Act 1972, as amended, regarding information relating to an individual/information which is likely to reveal the identity of an individual.

Consideration of Standards Complaint

Report of the Monitoring Officer.

 

(Note: The report at item 5 is not available to the public and press because it contains exempt information described in Paragraphs 1 and 2 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A of the Local Government Act 1972, as amended, regarding information relating to an individual/information which is likely to reveal the identity of an individual)

Minutes:

4.1

The Monitoring Officer submitted a report on the findings from an investigation into a complaint alleging that an elected Member had failed to comply with the Members’ Code of Conduct. The Member and complainant were not required to attend the meeting.

 

 

4.2

Resolved: That, after consideration of the report on complaint reference SC.2017.12 and taking into account the views of the Independent Person, the Sub-Committee agreed to take no action as the Councillor’s actions did not amount to a potential breach of, or failure to comply with, the Members’ Code of Conduct.
