The Executive Director, Children, Young People and Families, submitted a report providing an update on the recommendations from the Scrutiny Prevent Task Group.  The Task Group had been established in the Autumn of 2015, to explore the implementation of the Government’s new Prevent Duty in Children’s Services and Schools in Sheffield.  The Task Group had reported to the Committee in December 2015, and made a series of recommendations, and the report now submitted set out a number of key developments in 2016, together with an update on the recommendations.
