Minutes:

4.1

The Chief Licensing Officer submitted a report on a case relating to a review of a hackney carriage and private hire driver’s licence (Case No. 91/20).

 

 

4.2

The licence holder did not attend the hearing, and as he had offered no explanation for his absence and, on the grounds that this was the second time he had been invited to attend a hearing, the Sub-Committee agreed to consider the case in his absence.

 

 

4.3

RESOLVED: That after consideration of the information contained in the case papers , the determines that the licence be suspended under Section 61 of the Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1976, as amended by Section 52 of the Road Safety Act 2006, on the grounds that it considers the licence holder to be an immediate and ongoing risk to the public.
