Grant a licence for 12 months on the grounds that the applicant has provided sufficient evidence to convince the Sub-Committee that there are unique and exceptional reasons to deviate from the current policy on the age limit of vehicles.

Application to renew a Hackney Carriage and Private Hire Driver’s Licence |
(a) Grant a licence on the grounds that the Sub-Committee considers the applicant to be a fit and proper person to hold a licence but, given the circumstances now reported, the licence be granted for the shorter term of one year and (b) the applicant be given a written warning as to his future conduct, to remain live for the term of the licence, and for the term of any subsequent licence up to three years. |
