30/22

Application to renew a Hackney Carriage and Private Hire Driver’s Licence

(a) Grant a licence for the term of three years, as requested, on the grounds that the Sub-Committee considers the applicant to be a fit and proper person to hold a licence and (b) the applicant be given a written warning as to his future conduct and be informed that if there are any further offences during the term of the licence, the licence will be brought back to the Sub-Committee.

Refuse to renew the licence on the grounds that the applicant has not provided sufficient evidence to convince the Sub-Committee that there are exceptional reasons to deviate from the current policy on the age limit of vehicles.
