Minutes:

4.1

The Chief Licensing Officer submitted details in respect of three cases relating to hackney carriage and private hire licensing.

 

 

4.2

The applicant in Case No.87/22 had indicated he would not be attending the hearing and had asked that the case be heard in his absence.

 

 

4.3

The applicant in Case No.90/22 attended the hearing and addressed the Sub-Committee.

 

 

4.4

The applicant in Case No.91/22 was unable to attend the hearing and had asked that his case be deferred to a future date.

 

 

4.5

RESOLVED: That, after consideration of the information contained in the case papers, and the information now reported and, where relevant, circulated either prior to the meeting, but after publication of the agenda, or at the meeting, the cases now submitted be determined as follows:-

Renew the licence for 12 months as requested, on the grounds that the applicant has provided sufficient evidence to convince the Sub-Committee that there are exceptional reasons to deviate from the current policy on the age limit of vehicles.
