Case No.

Licence Type

Application for a new Hackney Carriage and Private Hire Vehicle Driver’s Licence

Grant a licence for the term of three years as requested, on the grounds that the Sub-Committee considers the applicant to be a fit and proper person to hold a licence.

Application to extend a Private Hire Vehicle Licence

Grant the applicant a further opportunity to attend and present his case.

Application to renew a Private Hire Vehicle Licence

Renew the licence for a shorter term than requested of nine months, on the grounds that the applicant has provided sufficient evidence to convince the Sub-Committee that there are exceptional reasons to deviate from the current policy on the age limit of vehicles.
