Minutes:

4.1

The Chief Licensing Officer submitted details in respect of four cases relating to hackney carriage and private hire licensing.

 

 

4.2

The licence holder in Case No. 105/22 attended the hearing with a friend, and they both addressed the Sub-Committee.

 

 

4.3

The applicant in Case No. 106/22 did not attend the hearing, and no prior notice had been received from him.

 

 

4.4

The applicant in Case No. 109/22 attended the hearing with a representative, and they both addressed the Sub-Committee.

 

 

4.5

The applicant in Case No. 110/22 did not attend the hearing, and no prior notice had been received from him.

 

 

4.6

RESOLVED: That, after consideration of the information contained in the case papers, and the information now reported and, where relevant, circulated either prior to the meeting, but after publication of the agenda, or at the meeting, the cases now submitted be determined as follows:-

Application to Renew a Private Hire Vehicle Licence

Grant a licence for six months on the grounds that the applicant has provided sufficient evidence to convince the Sub-Committee that there are exceptional reasons to deviate from the current policy on the age limit of vehicles.
