The Deputy Leader of the Council (Councillor Fran Belbin) explained that she was the Chair of the Governance Committee. The Governance Committee, as part of their work this year, was looking at improving democratic engagement. Therefore, Councillor Belbin was attending Local Area Committees to speak with members of the public on how public engagement could be improved. |
