The Principal Democratic Services Officer presented the Work Programme.

7.2

The Director of Economy, Skills and Culture drew the committee’s attention to an item had been referred from Council regarding a fairer green economy for Sheffield which asked the Economic Development and Skills Policy Committee to consider working with partners, including its Diverse Business Advisory Board and the Chamber of Commerce, on how to further support small businesses to address climate impacts.  

7.3

A member requested that green upskilling be added to the work programme and The Director of Economy, Skills and Culture agreed to provide an update before March 2024.

7.4

RESOLVED UNANIMOUSLY that, having considered if they required any further additions or adjustments:-

1.       the Committee’s work programme, as set out in Appendix 1 be agreed, including any additions and amendments identified in Part 1 and the referral from Full Council relating to support for small businesses on addressing climate impacts;
