Refuse to grant a licence on the grounds that, in light of the circumstances now reported, the Sub-Committee does not consider the applicant to be a fit and proper person to hold a licence. |

Application for a Hackney Carriage and Private Hire Driver’s Licence |
(a) Grant a licence for the term of 12 months, as requested, on the grounds that the Sub-Committee considers the applicant to be a fit and proper person to hold a licence; (b) the applicant be required to undertake the level 2 course ‘Introduction to the Role of the Professional Private Hire and Hackney Carriage Driver’ before the expiry of the term of the licence; and (c) the applicant be required to undertake the City Taxi First Aid Training Course and the City Taxi Passenger Assistance Training Course, present evidence of completing both of these courses to the Licensing Service in a timely manner. |
