Additional representations along with the officer response, and further comments from the applicant and agent in respect of clarification of the application boundary, were included within the Supplementary Report which was circulated at the meeting.

The Officer presented the report which gave details of the application, and highlighted the history of the site and the key issues, in addition to presenting photographs of the site which were provided to committee members in advance of the meeting.

Councillor Sue Alston attended the meeting and spoke against the application.

John Hartley attended the meeting and spoke against the application.

 

9a.5

The Committee considered the report and recommendation having regard to the development plan, the National Planning Policy Framework and other relevant considerations as summarised in the report and supplementary report, now submitted, and also having regard to representations made at the meeting.

A motion to impose a condition requiring the installation of swift bricks was proposed, seconded, voted on and carried.

 

9a.7

A motion to impose a condition requiring permeable tarmac to be used for the driveway was proposed, seconded, voted on and carried.

 

9a.8

RESOLVED: That an application for approval of planning permission be GRANTED conditionally, including amended conditions requiring the installation of swift boxes and the use of permeable tarmac for the driveway, for the reasons set out in the report and supplementary report now submitted, for the demolition of the existing dwelling and the erection of four detached dwellings with associated landscaping; and improvements to the access (resubmission of 23/00198/FUL) at 45A Brooklands Avenue Sheffield S10 4GB (Application no. 23/03631/FUL)
