The Chief Licensing Officer submitted details in respect of two cases relating to Hackney Carriage and Private Hire Licensing.

 

 

4.2

The applicant in Case No.66/13 attended the hearing and addressed the Sub-Committee.

 

 

4.3

The licence holder in Case No.67/13 attended the hearing and addressed the Sub-Committee.

Application for a Hackney Carriage and Private Hire Driver’s Licence

Refuse to grant a licence on the grounds that the Sub-Committee does not consider the applicant to be a fit and proper person to hold a licence in the light of the offences and convictions now reported.

Renewal of a Hackney Carriage and Private Hire Driver’s Licence

(a) Grant a licence for the normal term of 18 months and (b) the applicant be given a verbal warning as to his future conduct.
