Issue - decisions

That the Cabinet Member for Culture, Parks and Leisure:

1. Approves the Council accepting £493,278 from the Department for Health and Social Care (DHSC) for the Adult Weight Management Services grant programme.

2. Notes and agrees in principal to the approach outlined in this report to expand the existing weight management contract.

3. Delegates authority to the Director of Culture and Environment and the Director of Public Health, in consultation with the Director of Legal and Governance and the Director of Finance and Commercial Services to enter in to the variation with the existing provider.

4. To the extent not already delegated to them by the Leaders Scheme of Delegations, delegates authority to the Director of Culture and Environment and Director of Public Health, in consultation with the Director of Legal and Governance and the Director of Finance and Commercial Services to take any other decisions necessary in order to meet the aims and objects of the report.
