The industrial site behind Springwell Grove should not go ahead given the current traffic and congestion on Eckington Way. This is already known by council officers as being an issue and before any further development is made on the site a plan needs to be put in place to prevent further traffic.
It is also a concern that given the differing height of the field behind the residential properties nearest the site the industrial buildings will be imposing on residents which should be an active consideration in this part of the Draft Local Plan.
