We are opposing the plans put forward by connecting Sheffield to extend bus lane opening times and remove parking on Ecclesall road. This will not only majorly affect the residents on the roads surrounding the main road, but this will be detrimental to the businesses that rely on the parking provided. After facing an extremely difficult two years due to the covid pandemic these plans will be detrimental to the livelihood of many shops, salons, cafes etc. on Eccelsall road and surrounding areas. the lack of footfall will inevitably force job losses and business closures.
