Implementing the Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) in Sheffield

The CIL is a new way of seeking contributions from developers towards essential infrastructure that is required to support new development. To start charging the CIL on new development from July 2015, Cabinet must approve the Draft Charging Schedule that sets out the rates that will be charged and refer it to Full Council for approval.
