Provision of Burglar Alarm Installation, Repair and Maintenance Services Contract for Council Housing Properties 2015-16 with Option to Extend for a Further 1 Year

 

 

Sheffield City Council Housing Service requires a service contract to install, maintain (5 year battery replacement) and repair burglar alarm systems in domestic properties within vulnerable areas of the City, as identified by South Yorkshire Police local crime figures.

 

There is an initial outlay budget but the requirement operates on a nil cost ratio to the Council, as tenants are recharged a set cost per week to cover all costs. This figure payable is assessed annually.

 

The annual contract value is £370,000. Total value over 2 years £740,000.
