To provide £15 food vouchers to approximately 29,500 eligible families for the October 2021 half-term holidays, using existing supplier Edenred.

Reason for urgency:
The Government announced a new Household Support Fund (HSF) grant on 6 October 2021.

While the planning for broader delivery has started, we need urgent approval to purchase and issue food vouchers to schools/early years eligible cohorts in preparation for the October half-term holidays.
