Future Delivery of Mental Health Social Care

 

 

The report will set out proposals for the delivery of statutory Mental Health Social Care Assessment and Care Management functions in Sheffield from April 2023.

 

The contract for adults’ mental health assessment and care management with Sheffield Health and Social Care Trust is due to end in March 2023. It is proposed that the Council takes on the direct management of these functions in the future, rather than delegate the management to an external organisation.
