City Centre Connecting Sheffield and Shuttle Bus

 

 

The Leader of the Council is asked to endorse the continuation of the project, including accepting the grant and procurement route and support the introduction of a city centre shuttle bus service.

Reason for urgency:

South Yorkshire Mayoral Combined Authority have given a deadline to accept the grant funding and enter into the grant agreement.
Delivery timescale of the scheme has already started and the programme to completion is challenging. Further delay to programme will jeopardise delivery and market readiness to respond to the subsequent procurement process.
