Green Homes Grant Local Authority Delivery (GHG LAD) Wave 2 - Additional Grant Funding Secured

The Council secured LAD 2 funding that was approved by the Cooperative Executive on 22nd June 2021. This represented £3,003,507 of capital funding to deliver energy efficiency improvements to fuel poor and EPC D-G homes across Sheffield.

The Council submitted a business case on 14/12 to the funding administrator (Tees Valley Combined Authority/ North East & Yorkshire Energy Hub) for additional funding due to the higher costs of delivering the scheme. Alongside this the funder invited applications for more funding to deliver extra measures, which the Council did for 20 Air Source Heat Pumps.

The Business case was approved and the Council has now been awarded an additional sum of £972,136.
