in respect of three cases relating to hackney carriage and private
hire licensing.

hearing and addressed the Sub-Committee.

the hearing with a representative, and they both addressed the

June, 2022 as applied for, on the grounds that the applicant has
provided sufficient evidence to convince the Sub-Committee that
there are exceptional reasons to deviate from the current policy on
the age limit of vehicles.

Review of a Hackney
Carriage and Private Hire Driver’s Licence
|
Revoke the licence under
Section 61 of the Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act
1976, on the grounds that the Sub-Committee does not consider the
applicant to be a fit and proper person in view of the incidents
now reported, and there are therefore reasonable grounds to revoke
the licence.

Application for a new
Private Hire Vehicle Licence
|
That due to the configuration of the rear
passenger seats, the vehicle is granted exemption from carrying the
minimum required four passengers, and the applicant be granted a
licence to carry three passengers.
