To seek approval for the Council to procure apprenticeship service provision via the Crown Commercial Service’s (CCS) Apprenticeship Training Dynamic Marketplace (DPS) between 2022 and 2025, as outlined in this report.

The report highlights the importance of the continuity of the Council providing a variety of apprenticeships to the people of Sheffield.

That the Executive Director, People Services:

1. Approves the procurement of apprenticeship service delivery via theCommercial Service’s (CCS) Apprenticeship Training Dynamic Marketplace (DPS) as outlined in the report;

2. Delegates authority to the Executive Director of People Services, in consultation with the Director of Finance and Commercial Services and the Director of Legal and Governance to agree the terms of the call-off contracts under the CCS DPS (RM6102); and

3. Where no current authority exists, delegates authority to the Executive Director of People, in consultation with the Director of Finance and Commercial Services and the Director of Legal and Governance, to take such steps to meet the aims and objectives as detailed and set out in the report.
